When I was travelling, I used to buy postcards in the cities I visited and send them home via the local post office.<\/p>\n
One of my dreams in managing tourism here is to be able to sell postcards with pictures of De Karanganjar. Today, coinciding with International Postal Day, that dream was realised.<\/p>\n
Yes, as of today onwards the DE KARANGANJAR TOURISM ENTRY TICKET has been abolished.<\/p>\n
Instead, visitors can simply buy a VOUCHER in the form of a POS CARD worth IDR 25,000 which can be directly spent on coffee and food at OG Cafe, or for souvenirs and merchandise, or for ATV rental and family photos at Fotostudio.<\/p>\n
So, for example, if a person has a coffee and a meal at a cafe and spends a total of Rp. 40,000, then with the voucher, they only need to pay Rp. 15,000.<\/p>\n
Well, the postcard can be taken home as a souvenir. But it is much more affdol if visitors 'write the story of their visit' on the postcard, then buy stamps, and put the postcard in the mail bus at De Karanganjar.<\/p>\n
We want sending postcards to be a 'ritual' to do when visiting De Karanganjar.<\/p>\n

Salah satu impian saya dalam mengelola pariwisata di sini adalah bisa jualan kartu pos dengan gambar-gambar De Karanganjar. Hari ini, bertepatan dengan Hari Pos Internasional, impian itu terwujud. Ya, per hari ini dan seterusnya TIKET MASUK PARIWISATA DE KARANGANJAR DIHAPUSKAN. Sebagai gantinya, pengunjung cukup beli VOUCHER berbentuk KARTU POS senilai Rp. 25.000 yang bisa langsung dibelanjakan ngopi dan makan di OG Cafe, atau buat beli souvenir dan merchandise, atau buat sewa ATV dan foto keluarga di Fotostudio. Jadi misalkan seseorang ngopi dan makan di Cafe habisnya total Rp. 40.000, maka dipotong voucher cukup bayar Rp. 15.000 saja. Nah, kartu pos tersebut bisa dibawa pulang sebagai souvenir. Tapi jauh lebih afdol kalau pengunjung ‘menulis cerita kunjungannya’ di kartu pos tersebut, kemudian beli perangko, dan memasukkan kartu pos tersebut ke dalam bis surat yang ada di De Karanganjar. Kami ingin agar mengirim kartu pos menjadi ‘ritual’ yang harus dilakukan ketika berkunjung ke De Karanganjar.
