Firstly, the name of this puppet is different from the others.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, the materials used to make these puppets can be leather or wood (as in wayang golek) with different story characters.<\/p>\n<p>Thirdly, the stories performed do not always follow traditional conventions, such as in the performance titled \"Without a Play\".<\/p>\n<p>Fourth, the songs sung in Wayang Wali are not limited to Javanese songs, but also include Islamic songs that contain praise and prayers to God.<\/p>\n<p>Fifth, the musical instruments used to accompany the performance consist of a combination of Javanese gamelan, modern musical instruments such as guitars, keyboards and drums, and flying.<\/p>\n<p>The physical characteristics of Wayang Wali with the title \"Without Lakon\" can be seen from the material, colour, appearance, and the relationship between the appearance of the puppet and the character it represents.<\/p>\n<p>Wayang Wali is made of leather and wood, and the leather puppets are made by Pak Djoko, a puppet craftsman who is able to realise Ki Sudrun's ideas.<\/p>\n<p>Preparation for a performance usually begins four months in advance, during which Ki Sudrun writes down the theme and storyline.<\/p>\n<p>Each colour in Wayang Wali has its own meaning. Red symbolises passion, white symbolises wisdom, yellow symbolises tranquillity, and black is used as a symbol of virility or ferocity.<\/p>\n<p>In the performance, red is used for antagonists such as yaksas, giants, animals, demons, and villains, while yellow, white, and brown are used for protagonists such as punokawan, sunan, raden, kyai, and commoners.<\/p>\n<p>The colour combination of yellow and red is often used to represent characters such as pimps, prostitutes, and officials who have been caught in cases.<\/p>\n<p>In Wayang Wali performances, three forms of gunungan are used: calligraphic gunungan, hole gunungan, and pasujudan gunungan.<\/p>\n<p>The calligraphic gunungan contains calligraphic ornaments with the sentence of shahada, the pasujudan gunungan depicts the awareness of surrendering to God when facing trials, often played with a gunungan of holes on top to symbolise the world.<\/p>\n<p>The mandate in Wayang Wali contains many moral teachings and values of good and bad behaviour according to Islamic teachings and Javanese philosophy.<\/p>\n<p>Ki Sudrun uses wayang as a medium for da'wah, still contributing to culture.<\/p>\n<p>The mandate in the performance \"Without Lakon\" includes: (a) humans are born with creation, taste, and karsa, so they must have commendable traits in order to enter heaven and be kept away from hell, (b) every child must respect the mother, (c) humans are expected to organise life according to good morals, manners, and norms to balance inner and outer affairs, (d) humans must unite even though they have different interests, and (e) humans should try and not just surrender to nature.<\/p>\n<p>These mandates are reflected in various events in the story, such as Raden Said and Brandal Lokajaya's search for palm trees and kolang-kaling, and Semar's advice to Bagong, Petruk and Gareng.<\/p>\n<p>Based on this, it can be concluded that in the wayang wali story \"Without Lakon\", the theme is warfare, but not in the physical sense.<\/p>\n<p>The battle that is the focus of Wayang Wali is the inner war of man against his lust to return to the teachings of Allah. This reflects the acculturation between Javanese culture and Islamic culture.<\/p>\n<p>Javanese cultural elements are retained with the theme of warfare, but combined with Islamic values, namely the war against lust.<\/p>\n<p>In the Javanese spiritual view, humans have four passions: anger, luamah, supiyah and mutmainah.<\/p>\n<p>In wayang stories, certain characters reflect these traits.<\/p>\n<p>Acculturation with Islam is seen in how all these passions are directed to return to the teachings of Allah.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to wayang wali, the acculturation of Islam with Javanese culture can also be seen in the tradition of kenduri (feasting) at the event <strong>Manten Kopi Tradition<\/strong> which is held annually at <strong>De Karanganjar Koffieplantage<\/strong> as a sign that the harvest season has arrived.<\/p>\n<p>The kenduri tradition is usually led by traditional leaders or community leaders in the neighbourhood.<\/p>\n<p>In kenduri, the main dish is usually tumpeng complete with side dishes.<\/p>\n<p>This food is then distributed to the attendees as an expression of gratitude to God Almighty and to maintain the relationship between community members.<\/p>\n<p>Kenduri also functions as a social mechanism to maintain integrity and reaffirm shared ideals and goals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Di tengah perkembangan teknologi, kesenian wayang tetap memainkan peran penting terutama dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter kepada generasi muda. Kelima, alat musik yang digunakan untuk mengiringi pertunjukan ini terdiri dari kombinasi gamelan Jawa, alat musik modern seperti gitar, keyboard, dan drum, serta terbang. Karakteristik fisik Wayang Wali dengan judul \u201cTanpa Lakon\u201d dapat dilihat dari bahan, warna, tampilan, dan hubungan tampilan wayang dengan karakter yang diwakili. Wayang Wali terbuat dari kulit dan kayu, dan pembuatan wayang kulitnya dilakukan oleh Pak Djoko, seorang pengrajin wayang yang mampu merealisasikan ide-ide Ki Sudrun. Kombinasi warna kuning dan merah sering digunakan untuk mewakili tokoh-tokoh seperti mucikari, tuna susila, dan pejabat yang terkena kasus. Dalam pementasan Wayang Wali, tiga bentuk gunungan digunakan: gunungan kaligrafi, gunungan lubang, dan gunungan pasujudan. Gunungan kaligrafi berisi ornamen kaligrafi dengan kalimat syahadat, gunungan pasujudan menggambarkan kesadaran untuk berserah diri kepada Tuhan saat menghadapi cobaan, sering dimainkan dengan gunungan lubang di atasnya untuk melambangkan dunia. Amanat dalam pementasan \u201cTanpa Lakon\u201d meliputi: (a) manusia dilahirkan dengan cipta, rasa, dan karsa, sehingga harus memiliki sifat terpuji agar masuk surga dan dijauhkan dari neraka, (b) setiap anak harus menghormati ibu, (c) manusia diharapkan menata hidup sesuai akhlak, tata krama, dan norma yang baik untuk menyeimbangkan urusan lahir dan batin, (d) manusia harus bersatu meskipun memiliki kepentingan berbeda, dan (e) manusia hendaknya berusaha dan tidak hanya pasrah pada kodrat. Amanat-amanat ini tercermin dalam berbagai peristiwa dalam cerita, seperti pencarian pohon aren dan kolang-kaling oleh Raden Said dan Brandal Lokajaya, serta wejangan Semar kepada Bagong, Petruk, dan Gareng. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam wayang wali dengan cerita &#8220;Tanpa Lakon&#8221;, tema yang diambil adalah peperangan, tetapi bukan dalam arti fisik. Peperangan yang menjadi fokus dalam Wayang Wali adalah perang batin manusia melawan hawa nafsu untuk kembali kepada ajaran Allah. Ini mencerminkan adanya akulturasi antara budaya Jawa dan budaya Islam. Unsur budaya Jawa tetap dipertahankan dengan mengangkat tema peperangan, namun dipadukan dengan nilai-nilai Islam, yaitu peperangan melawan hawa nafsu. Dalam pandangan spiritual orang Jawa, manusia memiliki empat nafsu: amarah, luamah, supiyah, dan mutmainah. Dalam cerita wayang, karakter-karakter tertentu mencerminkan sifat-sifat tersebut. Akulturasi dengan Islam terlihat dalam bagaimana semua nafsu tersebut diarahkan untuk kembali kepada ajaran Allah. Selain wayang wali, akulturasi Islam dengan budaya Jawa juga terlihat pada tradisi kenduri di acara Tradisi Manten Kopi yang dilaksanakan setiap tahun di De Karanganjar Koffieplantage sebagai penanda musim panen raya tiba. Tradisi kenduri \u00a0biasanya dipimpin oleh pemuka adat atau tokoh masyarakat di lingkungan yang bersangkutan. Dalam kenduri, sajian utama biasanya berupa tumpeng lengkap dengan lauk-pauk. Makanan ini kemudian dibagikan kepada para hadirin sebagai bentuk ungkapan syukur kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan untuk menjaga tali silaturahmi antarwarga masyarakat.
