Dibangun pada masa penjajahan Belanda, bangunan ini menjadi saksi bisu pergantian bupati dan dinamika politik yang mewarnai Bumi Bung Karno. Rumah ini didirikan pada masa kepemimpinan Bupati kedua Blitar, setelah pusat pemerintahan sebelumnya hancur akibat letusan Gunung Kelud. Pembangunan Rumah Dinas Bupati Blitar ini dilakukan bersamaan dengan pembangunan beberapa bangunan penting lainnya, yaitu Masjid Jami\u2019, penjara, dan alun-alun Blitar. Pembangunan berbagai elemen ini merupakan bagian dari usaha pemerintah saat itu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan infrastruktur pemerintahan, sehingga tercipta sistem tata wilayah kota yang disebut sebagai mancapat-mancalima. Rumah Dinas Bupati Blitar terdiri dari beberapa bagian yang tersusun secara berurutan. Di bagian depan terdapat kuncungan, kemudian pendapa, dilanjutkan dengan longkangan, dan bagian paling belakang yang merupakan ruang utama yang disebut sebagai rumah induk. Selain itu, rumah dinas ini dilengkapi dengan tiga unit bangunan lainnya yang terpisah, yaitu Gedung Bunder di sebelah barat, bangunan unit dua di sebelah timur, serta bangunan unit tiga di sisi belakang yang telah direnovasi menjadi gazebo. Ada pula bangunan yang disebut sebagai paseban yang terletak di area alun-alun. Pembangunan rumah dinas ini dipimpin oleh Bupati K.R.T. Warsokoesoemo, yang menjabat dari tahun 1869 hingga 1896, pada masa pemerintahan Kabupaten Blitar masih berada di bawah pengawasan kolonial Belanda. Blitar sendiri termasuk dalam wilayah mancanegara Keraton Surakarta yang dihibahkan kepada pemerintahan Belanda sebagai ganti rugi biaya perang. Arsitektur rumah dinas ini mengadopsi gaya Indis yang berkembang pesat di Hindia Belanda pada akhir abad ke-19 dengan memadukan elemen-elemen gaya Jawa dan kolonial. Gaya Jawa pada rumah dinas ini dapat dilihat dari susunan ruang, arah hadap rumah, zonasi ruang, serta berbagai elemen struktural seperti tiang-tiang penyangga dan langit-langit tumpangsari di pendapa. Gaya Indis tampak pada struktur utama bangunan yang terdiri dari dinding tebal dengan detail di bagian depan, dominasi cat tembok warna putih, serta bukaan ruang berupa jendela dan pintu besar. Langit-langit tinggi dan pilar-pilar besar yang menopang bagian depan atap rumah juga memperkuat karakter Indis pada bangunan ini. Rumah induk memiliki denah yang simetris, terdiri dari beranda depan, ruang tamu VIP, lorong, ruang makan VIP, serta beranda belakang. Di samping kiri dan kanan lorong terdapat kamar-kamar tidur serta beberapa ruang pendukung lainnya. Gaya Jawa lebih dominan di bagian ruang depan, sedangkan gaya kolonial Indis lebih menonjol di bagian belakang rumah induk. Bagian depan rumah yang bergaya Jawa, dengan ruang pendapa sebagai pusat perhatian, mencerminkan usaha pemerintah saat itu untuk menunjukkan bahwa Blitar masih merupakan bagian dari masyarakat Jawa, khususnya Kerajaan Surakarta Hadiningrat. Adapun rumah induk yang merupakan bagian inti dalam susunan rumah Jawa mengalami perubahan, menggantikan kesakralannya dengan gaya kolonial sebagai simbol bahwa pemerintahan Blitar berada dalam kendali kolonial pada masa tersebut. Dengan kombinasi arsitektur Jawa dan Indis, Rumah Dinas Bupati Blitar tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat tinggal resmi bupati, tetapi juga sebagai simbol sejarah dan warisan budaya yang mencerminkan perjalanan panjang Kabupaten Blitar di bawah berbagai rezim pemerintahan. Selain Rumah Dinas Bupati Blitar, bangunan Rumah Lodji De Karanganjar Koffieplantage juga menjadi salah satu simbol sejarah yang masih dilestarikan dan terawat dengan baik hingga kini. Bangunan ini sudah berdiri sejak masa awal perkebunan Karanganjar didirikan. Menariknya, di dalam Rumah Lodji terdapat kamar Bung Karno yang digunakan pada saat kunjungannya dalam rangka nasionalisasi aset dari pemerintah Kolonial. Jika Anda pecinta arsitektur dan seni, kedua bangunan tersebut menjadi destinasi yang cocok bagi Anda.        <\/p>","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":5188,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[199],"tags":[322,268,709,429,708,323,547,710,681,263],"class_list":["post-5187","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-wisata","tag-bersejarah","tag-blitar","tag-bupati","tag-dari","tag-dinas","tag-kolonial","tag-masa","tag-rumah","tag-warisan","tag-wisata"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/5187","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/4"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=5187"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/5187\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":5189,"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/5187\/revisions\/5189"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/5188"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5187"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=5187"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dekaranganjar.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=5187"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
