Coffee Perdamaian de Karanganjar (KPK) adalah wajah baru dari Purnama Seruling Penataran (PSP), yang pertama kali sukses digelar pada tahun 2023.
This event carries a similar concept to the previous PSP, which is a collaboration between local Blitar, Nusantara, and international artists.
This year, the KPK will again be held in the Vredestuin De Karanganjar Koffieplantage area on 28 July 2024.
This second year's concept still involves local Blitar artists who perform their best work in front of the audience.
This event not only presents local artists, but also involves various related parties ranging from representatives of the Blitar District Government, the Tourism, Youth, Culture and Sports Office, to the general public.
The artists who participated in the KPK performed a variety of cultural performances.
Paguyuban Kledan Error menampilkan lagu Sholawat berjudul “Dungo Mandar”, yang merupakan ajakan untuk menjaga dan melestarikan budaya Jawa sebagai identitas bangsa.
This song contains prayers for the preservation of Javanese culture, especially among the younger generation, as well as hopes that this culture can develop and spread throughout the world.
In addition, Gong Kyai Pradah, an intangible cultural heritage from Blitar Regency, was also displayed.
This gong has a long history, being around 500 years old and was made during the time of King Brawijaya V of the Majapahit Kingdom.
This gong is famous for its distinctive sound and is believed to have magical powers.
Every year, the gong is cleaned and purified in the tradition of Jamasan Gong Kyai Pradah, which has become a cultural tourism attraction and has been designated as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
Pecut Samandiman, the heirloom of the 3rd Blitar Regent, Kanjeng Pangeran Sosrohadinegoro (1915-1918), is also on display.
According to myth, when the lava of Mount Kelud flows towards the pavilion, this whip is whipped and the sound is thunderous, separating the lava into two.
This whip became known as Pecut Samandiman.
Simo Lodoyo, a folktale from the Lodoyo area, describing the area across the river to the south that was once believed to be haunted and unchangeable by anyone, was also performed.
This story is now part of the regional history that is being introduced to the wider community.
In addition, there is Jaranan Kreasi Warok Suro Gemplo Darungan Kandangan Srengat Blitar, an art form derived from jaranan and then created with warok movements, resulting in a harmonious blend of art.
Warok itself is a tradition and culture in the Darungan Kandangan neighbourhood that is full of values of bravery, martial arts, and majesty.
Tari “Badak Keling”, diciptakan oleh Dewan Kesenian dan Budaya Desa Plosorejo, menggambarkan pasukan ksatria yang gagah berani, disimbolkan oleh badak keling (hitam) yang bertugas menjaga keamanan negeri.
Barong Rampog, a fusion of Barongan dance and Rampogan Macan tradition, is also presented.
This tradition was popular in Blitar in the 18th and 19th centuries and was banned in 1905 due to the declining Javan tiger population.
Blitar artist Kholam Siharta recreated this tradition in the form of a dance to preserve it.
The interesting fact is that this Blitar local culture has gone international and was awarded as Winner in Cheonan, Korea in 2011.
Barongan Warak Modangan, a local art form from Modangan village, is also performed. This culture is motivated by the existence of the Warak statue that initiated the emergence of Barongan Warakan initiated by the young generation of Modangan village.
Despite the cold temperature, the artists gave their best performance to the invited guests and audience.
In addition to Blitar artists, the event was also enlivened by volunteers from abroad, including Yuliana Meneses Orduno from Mexico, Estefani Huaman Ayala from Peru, and Sabrina Joy Tan from the Philippines.
Salah satu momen yang paling ditunggu adalah ritual “ coffee perdamaian” di mana semua penampil disuguhi secangkir coffee oleh Wima Brahmantya, CEO dan inisiator acara PSP dan KPK. Ritual ini memperkenalkan coffee sebagai ikon KPK dan wajah baru PSP reborn 2023.
Setelah ritual, semua penampil minum coffee perdamaian dan mendeklarasikan janji perdamaian bersama-sama yang mencakup menerima perbedaan antar manusia, menghormati kemanusiaan tanpa memandang suku, ras, bangsa, dan agama, serta menjunjung tinggi perdamaian dunia.
