"What about homeschooling, how does he socialise? Do you have friends?"
That's one of the most frequently asked questions by my friends when they learnt that I was home-schooling Jaga Nusantara.
In fact, Aga is friends with children in the neighbouring village, and they play almost every day.
Her nieces and nephews who are the same age as Aga often come and play with her.
Friends who bring children when they come here can also immediately get along with Aga. For some friends, we schedule certain times to meet, so that our children can play together.
Aga can also quickly get along with children brought by tourists, both local and foreign.
Sometimes we get foreign interns/volunteers who come as families. I like it best when they bring their children, so when their parents are helping with the work here, the children can play and learn with Aga.
This is good for Aga's mentality, as she is used to the "international vibe" from a young age. So when she grows up, she won't be nervous when interacting with foreigners.
So if the question is "does Aga have friends", the answer is YES.
Indeed, her friends are "dynamic", not "the same friends" every day.
Even if there is a drawback in this case, it is that in the future Aga does not experience the elementary school alumni reunion...
