Socialisation of Batik Tutur to batik-making groups scattered throughout Blitar Regency.

"How come they don't know Batik Tutur yet?"

Understood. They only know that Batik Tutur belongs to the Arts Council of Blitar Regency, or some even think that Batik Tutur belongs to "Mas Wima".

So at this afternoon's meeting I reiterated that Batik Tutur belongs to the people of Blitar. Please all batik makers develop it individually and sell it, and I will not ask for royalties.

Our task from DKKB is simply to "repatriate" Batik Tutur (original name Batik Afkomstig Uit Blitar) that has been brought by the Dutch for more than 100 years, after a long process.

Next? Yes, let us together preserve Blitar's proud batik "Batik Tutur" by producing it ourselves and wearing it.

And tell our children when they wear Batik Tutur: "Son, hopefully by wearing this batik you will always remember your origins."
