A few months ago, I suddenly wanted to plant papaya in one of the plots on our farm. I just got the answer now. Sometimes we just have to trust our instincts!
So it turns out that papaya is one of the fruits that can help boost the body's immunity in dealing with viruses such as Covid-19.

Papaya is one of the fruits with the highest vitamin C content, even higher than oranges. Papaya also contains the "papain enzyme", which is beneficial for inflammation. Remember that the signs of Covid-19 infection often start with a sore throat? That's why we are advised to drink water often, so that our throats are always wet so that the virus is reluctant to settle there.
In addition, papaya also contains vitamin E, potassium, and folate which are very good for the body (do your own research, boss, before you get mistaken for a health portal reporter).
Although I am now taking my family to isolate myself on the slopes of Mount Kelud, at least for vitamin C intake I can fulfil myself. So I'm not contributing to the scarcity of vitamin C in the shops.
Btw, this is the first time Jaga Nusantara has seen papaya fruit that is still attached to the tree.
"Nak..the peppers are about to be harvested. Why are you frowning? Do the papayas have to be brown in colour for you to smile happily?"
